The "Anything" Stir Fry

I'm quite a "just throw it in there" kind of chef which is probably why I only scraped a C at catering in school however, there is one recipe that I know tastes like heaven when you throw more or less anything into it and that people, is The "Anything" Stir Fry.

This is just my version of the recipe, you can change, take out and add in ingredients as you please.

The basic ingredients:

Noodles

Veg

Fruit (optional)

Meat of some sort (optional)

Some kind of sauce

Step One.

I'm a vegetarian but I when I'm not cooking for just myself, I'll partially cook the meat first, so it around three quarters cooked in the wok. This time, I cooked bacon, cutting it into small chunks so it cooked faster.

Step Two

When the bacon was almost cooked, I sliced up red peppers, onion, mushrooms and pineapple and put them in a separate pan with a table spoon of olive oil. The reason I put pineapple in the stir fry is because when you use a chili sauce like the one I used, the sweetness contrasts amazingly with the heat once you bite down on a chunk of the fruit. Also, because i'm such a flavor fanatic, I squeezed in half a lemon and half a lime,

Step Three

Once the veg begins to cook, you can add the sauce of your choice, I used sweet chili but only a little as there were quite a lot of juices from the fruits in the pan already and I didn't want to cover up their flavors.

Step Four

The noodles! You can't have a stir fry without noodles, they make up a vast majority of the meal. So just toss them on in there and cook for a minute before adding your meat to cook for another two or three minutes, depending on how well done you like your food to be.

Then voila! You're done and the food is ready to be served. If you try this out, tell me what you think on Twitter.
